Martina - Thank you so much for using quotes from my book. The photos have been wonderful. It's been very interesting to see your interpretations of the poems and they've all worked really well. I can't wait to see more. I like the combinations you've chosen--you've found that perfect balance of metaphors. In this photo, the power of imagining someone going around that corner and out of sight, is amazing.

I like this photo but it doesn't look like a blue sky day to me. It's more of a 'blue' in the sense of sad image.

Joan Elizabeth, you are absolutely right, the day was mostly cloudy. Interesting thought, I wonder if "blue" really means "sad" in the poem, too. Hmm.
