Martina - Thank you so much for using quotes from my book. The photos have been wonderful. It's been very interesting to see your interpretations of the poems and they've all worked really well. I can't wait to see more. I like the combinations you've chosen--you've found that perfect balance of metaphors. In this photo, the power of imagining someone going around that corner and out of sight, is amazing.
Vito, ... I walk the edge of our conversation and in the mist after the rain I see you ...
Luis, thank you! I am sorry I haven't put your blog on my blogroll yet, I would really like to, since your photos are really good, but ... blogroll can't be edited since January :-(
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

I like this photo but it doesn't look like a blue sky day to me. It's more of a 'blue' in the sense of sad image.
Joan Elizabeth, you are absolutely right, the day was mostly cloudy. Interesting thought, I wonder if "blue" really means "sad" in the poem, too. Hmm.
I forgot, here is the link to the poem
