Joan Elizabeth, kobico: I suppose it depends on the fish's freshness - but I am more like ana barata: speaking of this makes me hungry, too. Grilled salmon with garlic and rosemary and olive oil ... pan-fried trout with parsley and butter ...
I admit I like to eat fish, but I'm not always wild about the scent. I'm kind of partial to grilled coho salmon with lemon and capers. Or grilled mackerel seasoned simply with sea salt.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.

The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

With fish I am never quite sure if the smell is good or bad. Nice detail in this shot.
Joan Elizabeth, thx. With fish I always get hungry, can't look at photos of fish without getting hungry. Strange.
I agree with Joan Elizabeth. Sometimes the scent of fish can be a little off-putting.
