Julie, just checked it: it's "insured" - perhaps a kind of small joke, the author playing with the reader's expectation (not with mine, though, "ensured" did not cross my mind, ;-))? Could have been my typo of course - I am glad it is not, lol.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

There is a difference, in English, between "insured" and "ensured". Did you take the quote letter by letter?
