I like this. Sometimes I wonder why people take so many pictures of clouds, but once in a while a cloud gets into a terrific relationship with the land. This reminds me of an interesting encounter I had with Devil's Monument some years ago.
Carl, I think clouds need some context, otherwise they are boring. (Like so many things, ;-)). With this one I wonder if it's only my imagination that tells me the cloud is imitating the mountain - almost the same outline. "Encounter with Devil's Monument" sounds interesting.

This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)
