por mais incrível que pareça na semana passada vi este cenário quase no centro da cidade de Lisboa, só não parei para fazer foto porque era um local sem bermas ... ainda se vê muito pastor por todo o mundo .... excelente foto
Bean Fely, this one was at Mont Ventoux - but you are right. Shepherds here in Germany are the same. It's universal. But it's unusual to find them in the inner city.
Shepherds ... do shepherds still exist? I thought they were something that had disappeared in history ... certainly here in Australia.
We were out in the country today and there were sheep grazing with a pair of Alpacas. Alpacas are apparently quite brilliant at fending off Dingos (wild dogs) so I think perhaps Alpacas are the new shepherd.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

Joan Elizabeth, perhaps all the Australian shepherds migrated to Europe when the Alpacas took over? :-).
