What a delightful find. The painted hues together with the varied colours of the rust. How apposite for today's quote.

I was wondering if you're were still "Confused". Still got you going in circles?

I like the muted, warm tones, it's somehow relaxing.

What a perfect combination ... the colours, the rust, the worn bits showing that this wheel has been turned many times ... a favorite.

Paula and to all who might be interested: Neal Stephenson plays with the word "Confusion" and all its meanings: confusion in cryptology, confusion as a state of being scatterbrained and con-fusion as in lat. confundere "to pour together", hence Alchemy. At least these are the meanings I recognized so far, ;-).

Thanks very much for all your comments, :-D, they are very much appreciated.
