Nifty buildings! The one on the left reminds me of a series of coffee filter holders, and the one on the right reminds me of Legos. I like the way the sky is framed -- makes me want to climb up to it.

When I saw the quote I was sure I'd see a photo of a rustic building ... you've surprised me yet again.

kobico, Lloyd's tower is designed by the same architects who did the Centre Pompidou - and it is really amazing. There is no left or right, it is one building. Kind of reminds be of Brazil (the movie).

Anne, I will try and talk to my personal weather god (not that he ever ever listens to me :-( ) ... hope you will be having a great time in London and I am looking forward to seeing some of your just as well great photos :-)

Joan Elizabeth, by hindsight I thought I should have posting a photo of The Gherkin ...

kobico, that would be "me" instead of "be" - I hate doing typos - it's worse if it's not your mother language - I do not think I would care about a typo in German ... strange ... isn't it?

I always worry when I make errors in French that I may have typed something offensive without knowing it!

A building you have to photograph -- and you framed it well.

It is a pain about typos. On platforms like Multiply and Flickr you can correct your own comments, when you see the embarrassing spelling mistakes you have made.

AB, did I already mention how impressed I have been with this tower? ;-)

Typos are really embarassing in the foreign language - I do not care half as much about my German typos.

The chance to correct my comments? That would be a nightmare - I would read, correct, re-read, re-correct ... ;-)

Awesome perspective! Being an enthusiast of architecture I immediately felt reminded of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Can't help it but it looks so industrial and futuristic. Welcome to the Matrix (the movie)... (;

Like the perspective, it appears very fascinating in its disorienting aspect
