Ooo I have not seen this sort of "ride" in a playground over here. My son would have loved this - he had a thing for graders.

I've never seen one of those in a playground here either. I think I would have loved it as a kid:)

We are still at the ironworks - so no, this is not a typical "ride" in German playgrounds, it is in the picnic area playground at the ironworks.
And yes, I loved it too, ;-), made a really huge hole in the ground.
