I think that moped has seen some service.
It is an intriguing picture.... the angles and the crop add to the mystery. I see you like Rushdie?
I haven't seen a genuine moped like that for decades. Great subject for the B&W treatment.
AB, Aileni: this moped was indeed a mystery to me until I realized, it's Mobylette not Mobulette .. duh ... :-S.
Sean, hm Rushdie - I suppose you ask because of the lot of quotes lately. In fact it took me exceptionally long to read the "Enchantress" - it is not an easy read. And I took a week off while in Paris and read - naturally - something about Paris (Georg Troller's "Paris Geheim" - a book I highly recommend to everyone going to Paris and able to read German - I don't think it is translated). Now Rushdie. I have read five of his novels so far - I think I always wait for a second "Midnight's Children" and am always a litte bit disappointed. I liked some of the novels, some I found very very boring - ... now that is me starting to talk about books ... someone has got to stop me ... Rushdie is okay, but not an author I am trying to buy every sentence he writes like with some of my favourite authors ...
It is an intriguing picture and I love the angle.

Julie, the difference is that there is no Mobulette - when I was back home I started googling and nothing came up ... than I had a closer look at the photo .... :-S ... file is still named mobulette.jpg ;-)
