This is a beautiful shot...and there's so much more value in the elements of nature than in many of the things we are supposed to desire.

Some things have intrinsic value. You must have had an immense ache in your hips from squatting long enough to allow the flutterbye to alight and be comfy ... excellent composition and with such clarity.

Julie, in fact, mostly I am kneeling or lying - that's why my jeans are always grass and dirt stained, ;-).

PJ, thanks for this comment, most of the times I am not really content with my compositions.

With the "flutterbyes" (Julie, I like this one very much :-)) it is really easy in these days, they are like crazy - perhaps it is mating time - it is hard to take a picture without one or two or three sitting somewhere on a blossom or hopping around like on speed. ;-)
