I was going to comment on the one below which is such fun but this one takes the cake, had me laughing out loud. I am not sure if that thing in the middle is a disapproving or sorrowful face.

Joan Elizabeth, I am sure it is both :-).
Disgusting liquor, brrrrrrr.

To give some perspective: these are 20 milliliter shooter-sized bottles.

I look forward to your posts everyday. I'm wondering what comes first, the quote or the photograph? In any event, I find both the quotes and photos interesting, amusing and thought provoking. Very nice work.

Fine! I read the title of your post in my blogroll and was really looking forward to the quirk you would find to pair it with.

Eyeliquor, dank u!

Ed, thanks for your nice comment, :-). No rules, sometimes it's the photo I want to post, sometimes the other way round. With this short story it's not easy and I might go back and forth several times until I find something I like.

Markus, I was lucky that this horrid stuff has a face on its label, ;-)

Roberto, gracias.

Captures the day after the carnival feeling!

AB, yep, definitely. It's always an interesting time of year but I am glad when it's over as well. Not that I am involved in all this besides taking photos.
