Yes, I remember how I impressed I was one day with the evolution of your photography - I am sure you remember my clumsy comment. But hey, it's the same with me - I hardly saw a thing.
The wall is in Brixen, I didn't find any information about its origin, but it seems to be really old. There is a hotel nearby that claims to have been there even before 1552.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

ρομπερτ, hm, I think it is better to use a lens as an instrument for learning and seeing than as a camouflage, ;-)

Hey we've got a new modem and it doesn't crash all the time. Now I can visit more often.
I agree the lens is an instrument to help us see. I think back to before i was a photographer and hardly saw a thing.
