I love this - I'm such a huge fan of photos that are real. . . and this one is every bit of that. I could have stayed there and photographed people in front of those hands all day.

Carl, thank you very much.

-me, it's not that I stood there and waited for people passing by, ;-).

Carl, -me: one of these things. I wanted to take a photo of the hands. The woman rushed by. I took another photo of the hands. Yesterday, when I had a look at both photos, the one I intended to make, the hands, was totally boring and empty. And the one I thought a failure , this one, seemed so much better.
So that's the truth, :-).

Martina,

As my mentor David Vestal advises, when you have an accidental success, immediately take full credit for it...

!! that is why it is so real !! There is always some woman rushing by wrecking something that you think you want only to find she's made it better.

And Carl is so right. . . when you have an accidental success, immediately take full credit for it...

Carl, okay, next time I will keep this in mind :-).

-me, only you can transfer such a photo into worldly wisdom (btw I don't think this is English - it's not even German translated to English). *bg*

I wonder if that woman knows you've made her famous. In a blurry sort of way.
