She should try saying something if she doesn't want to be ignored.
It is interesting the way you link your image to the text
Wonderful combination again. But I have to contradict Joan Elizabeth: Nowadays it's widely sufficient to shout, regardless of content. Unfortunately.
Joan Elizabeth, seems like she is lost for words :-)
Mariann, thank you for visiting and your comment. This one was easy, finding a quote for this photo. :-)
Markus, thank you!
But, "nowadays"?
I am wondering if this is Susie, Calvin's girlfriend, crying "Miss Wormwood!!!!" - not sure. I found a Calvin, too, around the next corner.
... But, "nowadays"?
Martina, I just tried to not extrapolate from the experience. But probably it is and will be always like that. (Hard to switch misanthropic mode off at the moment...)
Markus, might be my constant cynical mode that makes me think "it has always been and will always be" ...
This little girl - Mafalda by Quino - was one of my friends. I loved - I still do - to read her stories. She is wise and cool. And she has always something to say!
And she is outthere and uou noticed her!

Here you have all about Mafalda.
ana barata, thank you so much for this information! I didn't know and was really unsure about this character ... and now I have something new to do ... there are German editions ... :-D. How could I have missed Mafalda all my life? Thanks again.
Love this image Martina, what a perfect match to the quote.
Fabulous.
paul, I wonder if someday someone will write something in the bubble ... . Thank you!
