Joan Elizabeth, it's the only way I would ever dare to take a photo of a kissing couple :-)
thlofl, thanks, :-). Non, I don't do competitions - you know how it is, jumping from the roof ...
AB, yes and it has to have some cold weather, otherwise the banks would be crowded ... .
CiB, :-)
ana barata, hopefully with a happy ending.
kobico, yes, me, too. I would have never posted this if the faces were recognisable. I am coming to the conclusion, after many tries in the last years, that I am really not a people's photographer - I prefer frogs and snails and cows and abandonend things. Another thing is portraits - but I don't post them :-).
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

I like the birds eye view on this one.
oh Martina that is a fabulous photo. there must be a contest somewhere that you can win with this one, oui ou non?
That seems to be the thing to do on the banks of the Seine
We may imagine so many stories about this picture...
I feel a bit like a voyeuse!
