It does look a bit gauzy! I can't tell if it's an elderly person with a cane or a suspicious person with a knife, though.

Yes, it's strange, isn't it? Unfortunately the signature is "AS" - now try to search the internet for an artist "as in paris" "as streetart paris" ... .

The original is monochrome with red mottle all over it, very fine, almost unrecognizable to the eye.

I would say it is an elderly person with a cane.
