I love those old toy boats, as a boy I used to let sail them around our swimming pool at home, and longed for a dam or a lake nearby to get some serious distance,
For those who don't believe in fishing in Paris: one night at the Seine we saw a guy catching five or six eels in one hour - it was amazing. Fat eels!
I don't recall ever having a toy boat, we used parts of a tree's bark and put some small stick in the middle of it - there was our frigate - boldly going where no one has gone before - down the rivulet for some two meters, *g*.
Markus, not that many - I read "Immer Paris" by Karl Heinz Götze, a book I can highly recommend.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)
