Belissima foto. Me encanta as linhas da casa. Abraços.

That is one steep roof.

I love the long, deep shadows of the two not-identical chimneys.

Caçador, a slide, eh?

R.Ferrari, obrigado - a casa é muito bom, eu acho. Saudações! (google translate, not me, ;-))

Joan Elizabeth, yes, that's eye-catching, isn't it? One of the first things I took a photo of on our "sweet wayfaring" last Friday.

Mary Ann, me, too - even if I didn't see the shadows before seeing the photo, strange ....

Incredible architecture, very practical no doubt, to allow the snow to slide off!! Love those shadows too.

paulboo, now I am thinking for two days about your comment and try to figure out why they built these steep roofs in the Middle Ages - I can't believe there was that much snow in Alsace.

donnie, yes, you are right - it's a ski-jump thingie.

Roberto, thank you very much.
