@all, sometimes one has to make something out of her own comfort zone (yes, your are absolutely right, Serge) - for me that means taking photos of landscapes etc. Nothing I do very often. In fact this one is funny - a bicyclist passed by and I turned around, fumbled with the camera and finally managed to get a glimpse of him before vanishing .... he is right there, you see him? ;-)
kobico, one of the small villages that nowadays form Mainz' boroughs - nice, full of old limestone houses and narrow streets. You just have to close your eyes to the development areas.
Tash, Toni Morrison's novels are always wonderful to read - I really lack the English skills to describe this - and even wonderful is the wrong word. Sentences to dwell in, descriptions that last for days in my mind ...
Markus, one minute ago I quoted the last sentence of the novel. You know this feeling of sadness and loss when a novel is read, no more pages to turn, you have to go to the next book? And I am looking forward to hearing from you when you have read it :-)
