Me, I just can't see me any more, I lose my skin, I became invisible to my eyes, I melt, I...

M - I love the photo. I have a thing for cracked walls.

E. L. Doctorow lives around here. I was once on jury duty with him. The movie from his book Ragtime was filmed around the corner from our house. . .

Ok so now is it a co-incidence that your next one was from Italy... Martina, please you need to keep me advised of your whereabouts at all times!!!!!

Now on the photograph: Cracked - the post... I keep saying to myself that you often choose these at random.... at random... at random... not on purpose, at random...

donnie, if there is an St. Donnie, the chances are high ....

Caçador, helllloo! Still there? Say something! Please!!!

me, one (=me) never imagines authors as real living beings, doing more or less profane things like we all do ... Ragtime is on my wishlist right now (so many books to read ...) - I must admit this short story is the first Doctorow I have read.

Sean, I am still here - in the dark rainy wet cold grey Germany, browsing the archives since I have no inclination to go outside and take photos in the dark rainy wet cold grey Germany right now. Sitting on the sofa wearing a hoody instead of sitting outside wearing a t-shirt and sipping some Margherita.
btw - if I am on vacation the blog is on vacation, too. Vacation = being offline! :-)

No, never randomly - you know that, ;-).

Serge, unfortunately not. I took this photo 2008 in Carrara, I think.

I like this a lot Martina, a nice evocative mood it has, transporting us to sunnier climates :o)

paulboo, yes - as you might have thought from my rant, nothing sunny around here. Not sure how it is in London, but I would guess, the same ... waiting ...
