the birds and the tree, by Martina.beijo
with the birds of the night fluttering overhead.
I must read this book. Your photos have been marvelous. The compost mountain worked great with the quote and the blackbirds in this tree are really something. Looks like Bodega Bay, California.
I like making up stories around your quotes!
Did you see that Alfred Hitchcock movie? :-) Crows are great.
I like this shot. Works so well in B&w
we have trees just like this in our village. crows sit at the very top with their nests not too far below. it's all quite eerie, especially at night.
Caçador, and the sun going down ... CiB, and the branches swaying ...thlofl, the compost mountain or the crows in the tree? Yes, Toni Morrison's work is really . I highly recommend it.kobico, let's hear!paulboo, sure. But as long as the crows haven't seen it I feel safe :-).Joan Elizabeth, thanks (and of course most of the crows were already gone when I managed to press the shutter :-S)ER, I am not sure why this flock of crows gathered at this tree - they came, sat down and flew away. Some crow company outing perhaps?
