Your last entries are interesting you always match pictures with words, not easy. I can translate for you what's in the bubble: "I'm fed up!" Have a nice day! Serge
Serge, ah, thank you - now everything makes sense. Like Julie, I could easily translate your caption but google capitulated with the rest.
Joan Elizabeth, I am sorry to hear this - since I didn't do anything with the blog's layout/html etc. in the last months I guess it is hosted on a lazy google server. Wondering if other people have the same problems .. . This is not really compost but mulch. It is a real mountain of mulch - I would guess about 3m in height - from one of the bigger farmers around here.
Thanks Sean and paulboo - luckily photos don't smell - mulch's scent is nothing I really like - wondering - since bark alone has a nice forest-y scent - but mulch - baah, perhaps it is simply too much.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

Martina, I often have difficulty commenting on your blog for some reason ... it goes excrutiatingly slow and I give up.
The council has just been by munching up the green waste we have left on the kerb .. I now have a nice heap of compost just like this.

I like the textures on this Martina... great quote too!
A different kind of mountain but as equally fascinating as the more usual kind.
There are indeed many shades of black...!
