Sean, aaaaah, this photo! I took this yesterday after work. The first evening since weeks with weather fine enough to have the usual one-hour-photo-walk after work. I so missed the sun and the warmth and yesterday I reacted like a junkie who finally got his drug again: photos with bokeh, with lens flare - main point: sun!

A beautiful backlit. I like the small white flowers that dot the landscape.

I can't tell about scale--how tall are those dandelions? From 2008-9 I briefly had a garden in the US, where I was amazed to see dandelions in excess of 2 feet tall. I was fairly proud of those weeds.

ruimnm, thank you. Here these are not only dots in the landscape but abundant, :-)

Mary Ann, about knee-high (my knees, ;-)). This year they are especially tall, I suppose because of the many rainy days we had. Usually they are more up to 10 cm, not 50 cm ;-).

This picture totally brings me back to being a kid. It really hold emotion and I can almost feel what it used to feel like being 7 again.

Lindsays, hmm, this would have been paradise for me at this age - dandelions my height! Wow. Trees, no grownups ... I grew up in the countryside, so, yes, you are totally right!
