Just don't eat anything before getting onto the bumper cars! Did you ride?
Yay for free short stories! I'm working on a big project this week, but I'm bookmarking it and will come back to it... unless you give it the thumbs down.
Dodgems, so much fun, I remember them well but haven't been on any for too many years now!
Nice atmospheric shot Martina.
kobico, paulboo:
So it is bumber cars in AE and dodgems in BE -- in German (haha!) we call them autoscooters!
Na, I didn't ride - don't ask me why I didn't even think a second about it ... perhaps because it had almost 30 °C yesterday and I am old? ;-)
They did some artificial fogging (?) (they didn't do this in my times) and I tried to capture this ... hm ... this one was the best ... so ...
It looks like you caught some of the constant motion of a place like that.
Martina - you've been to a carnival too this week! This is a great shot. We call them bumper cars too. My son hates them - refuses to let anyone smash into him. He prefers rides that spin until he is dizzy, dizzy.
I see that they added artificial fog to the ride. You captured that effect really well. I like this photo quite a bit.
Say the bird to the worm.
Mary Ann, thank you, :-) - since you might have guessed from my comment I am more like: OOOH, this could have been so much better!! If only I took the time to have a look at my iso, my aperture, my whatever!!! ;-)
thlofl, heehee, dizzy dizzy ... I always preferred bumper cars to other things, like rides etc. I like to have the control in contrast to be wheeled around in the sky, brrr.
Caçador, that's brilliant!
kobico, I just had up my mind: it is a thumbs up story. At first I was a little bit unsure of this but with the end: yes. Definitely.
