Speaking of snails in gardens, some of my tomato seedlings seem to have disappeared overnight. I'm not a big escargot fan, but if I want to eat things I collect in my garden, I may have to resort to it...

Joan Elizabeth, kobico: yes, here, too. Snails snails everywhere, they even settle (?) on cars - going for a ride, I suppose. But I prefer these one to the big fat brown naked ones, brrrr.
kobico, in my non-vegatarian days I liked them with a Pernod-based sauce ..
