Nice close up of the clothespin. I didn't recognize it until I enlarged the picture. This sounds like an interesting book. I've read some reviews of Boyle's books and they all sound pretty interesting.

Interesting shot ... the metal looks bright but the wood weathered.

Who knew a clothespin could have such interesting shapes and texture?

CiB, I am (after having read four of his novels and some of his short stories - this is a short story btw, easy to find quotes, so I am exploiting it a little bit, ;-)) not sure what to make of T. C. Boyle. Interesting - his novels' subjects are for sure. Sometimes boring? His style maybe. If I would recommend one novel it would be "Water Music" I guess. But not sure. Perhaps because this was the first one I read many many many years ago? ;-)

Joan Elizabeth, it is a perfectly new one! ;-)

Meire Ruiz, muito obrigado (I am sorry, that is all I know). um-rapido-instante is so great!

Lindsay, playing around while the weather is awful (I always say that Mainz is the German Seattle - we are rusting .... either with rain or snow ). I like the new photo in your profile!
