Carl, as AB already constituted (;-)) it's an old ironworks in Saarland. Since we do not have any drive-ins in Germany we have to stick to other abandoned places, :-). Really a highlight of my last year's photographic journey, usually they have many visitors but I have been there in November, it was deserted and the low winter sun was shining through all the pipes and tubes and all the other structures.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)
