I love the quote "is it art". I sometimes find myself saying that to myself when I see the most quirky things... when something seems a little out of place, as yourself, and often it explains the unexplainable, particularly when the answer is "yes"!
Well, no! It's Art with a capital A! Art written art is not art, at least according to some self-appointed artists. But then, does it matter? It works.
This lunaria annua seed-pot was part of the art project One & Other" - someone standing on the Fourth Plinth and scattering hundreds of seed-pots onto the passers-by at Trafalgar Square. Each seed-pot had a sentence written on it. I took two back to Germany. Yes, I think it is art.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

Before I read your comment, I thought it was a piece of vellum you'd very carefully burned a pattern into!
I like the white seed against the white snow, differentiated only by the textures and a few faint lines.
