Because I link to your blog from my sidebar I always see the quote before the image. Today you had me wondering what does she see everywhere she goes ... it made me smile when I discovered what it was.

Because boxes are useful items! And moreso if they are made of wood because they are then beautiful as well as useful.

We no more have this kind of boxes here in Spain, they are all made with plastics. What a pity! Not such a charm.

They look so carefully arranged.

Serge, might be because fruitgrowing is much more "industrialised" in Spain than in Germany. Orchards are much bigger in Spain I suppose with much more output. I have never seen plastic crates around here - though I have seen plastic bee hives - very ugly.

AB, perhaps the farmers know that this woman with the camera will be coming and they arrange them for her? ;-) (I did not arrange them)
