This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

and how it comes ... it disappears ...
I gather Europe is a bit inundated! This is all our news is carrying this morning. Even edged out the Copenhagen mess.
Take care.
I remember... the hush that comes with falling snow. Wonderful.
We've had a little over a foot of snow today in Boston too. Snow does produce profound silence [and beauty]. Have a great week.
nice effort
Julie, thank you. It's still snowing :-). Not too bad, I prefer this to the usual grey skies and rain we have in December.
Tash, no snow in Rancho Palos Verdes?
CiB, it's about 4" here. Have a nice week, too, :-D.
Martina,
Joyeux Noël!I'd like to go to the the mountain to take pictures with the snow in it, but later maybe in february. See U soon,
Bye

Feliz natal a você e seus familiares e que todos os sonhos possam se realizar no ano vindouro. Saudações. R.Ferrari
i like this! Our snow is finished for the moment, tomorrow brings sleet!
You asked where the snow was in Saarbrücken. I see you are leaving no doubt about its presence in Mainz!
R.Ferrari, Feliz Natal e um Feliz Ano Novo! :-) (google translate, not me, ;-))
ER, same here. It's an awful muddy plashy sloppery sludgy slushy squishy mess!
AB, as long as you are withholding the Saarländerisch snow in your blog ...
Snow ... cold stuff ... the few times I have been in snow I find the muffled silence it creates when it falls oddly comforting.
