My goodness ... I'm betwitched too ... how many girders does a ironworks need??? It's photographer's heaven. Thanks for the link yesterday, I enjoyed reading up a little on the place.
Photographer's heaven, yes. Here is a German photographer who seems to travel the steelworks and ironworks of the world (it's in English too): Stahlseite
Funny is - in The Confusion they are making steel right now, so I am not going to quote from some other works at the moment, ;-).
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

Serge, this was an easy decision :-). I saw democracia en honduras and thought: hey this is a photoblog I am going to like!
The girders make strange patterns. A lot of the lines are not quite straight.
AB, yes, snakey rails for the skips.

Thanks for the link, have only had a chance to take the briefest of looks yet but will be going back to it.
Julie, yes - until I visit the next cathedral, ;-)
