After Walter called me a mountain goat yesterday I thought it't time for goats. As BAP said, they are very intelligent, after a whole day of sleeping and dozing in the middle of the street they gathered at this concrete wall that had stored the day's heat (it was evening then). For another round of dozing I suppose, ;-)
Chapa, on the contrary: looking for the stored day's heat in the wall and perhaps the lee. It was really funny watching them all stand up suddenly and lining up there.
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

Yes ... like these are not cows but maybe black faced sheep ;-)
Why are they lined up against the wall?
They're lined up so neatly against the wall!
Seems like they are intrigued by your camera, and you aroused their interest. Goats are sensitive, intelligent animals.

Joan Elizabeth, lol - in fact I saw some black faced sheep and was thinking of you. But didn't take pictures :-(
They are against the wall, looking for the shadow? Goats are great models.

Zickenparty in the shade?
AB, just having read your comment on Joan Elizabeth's blog I was waiting for some hint to the British ancestry in these goats ... ;-)
Fascinating about them moving in for the heat on the wall, like others I had thought it might be the shade they were seeking ... I'm glad I asked.
wow ... goats ... I like goats they are so clever ;)
not just one goat! but dozens. great photos all. Your commenters have been here a long time. You've got a great following. now -me too!
-me, I have great followers, yes, absolutely! I don't think this blog would be still alive without them.
A good opportunity to say "thank you!" to the ones who by any chance are reading this, :-).
