The gate belongs to Southwark Cathedral in London (that's where the dove/gargoyle picture was taken), on their website they write: "The churchyard on the south side of the Cathedral is an oasis of calm and is a favourite lunch-time resting place for local office workers." That is really true - even if it is very strange to me to see all the people having their lunch in a churchyard.
