Hehe, it does have a very serious countenance! I wonder what it's contemplating...

He reminds me of Captain Peacock from "Are you being served?"

Looks a little grumpy Martina... is that because of you?

Julie, I had to google - this was never aired in Germany, sounds fun.

kobico, Sean

I suppose it wondered if I would be a good catch or to big a fish ... ;-)

kobico, Sean: Oh jeee, I just read this:

Bird eats Man

Joan Elizabeth said...

Well it made me laugh.

Sean said...

Martina... I dont think you need worry. I imagine people tasted much better in those days. Nowadays with all the preservatives, and stress I imagine we would be pretty tough... unless you are one of those natural, vegetarians which survive on bio foods and cabbage leaves.... are you?

Bonjour,
A nice shot..beautiful greyscale..bravo!

Martina said...

Sean, I am no rabbit! The only way I eat cabbage leaves is in kimchi.

But yes, I do not eat meat, but I am sure I have enough toxins in my blood that any hungry man-eating bird would sneer at me ... but wait ... all the wasps and mosquitoes and other flying beasts love me ...

Sean said...

Ahaaaaa... so you are one of "those" :::)))) Want another quote to work on?

Martina said...

Sean, sure - am lacking inspiration at the moment anyway - Quicksilver is not easy regarding quotes.

Sean said...

Ok, I mailed it to you. It is not a book, sorry! Movie!

Martina said...

Sean, of course it's a book! pfft. Since I only own the German translation I will take you as reference (you know how neurotic I can be with these things, ;-))

I would bet humans taste better when they are younger, before the meat toughens up and they take in all those toxins. Not sure how picky birds are about their food, though ...

Martina said...

kobico, I think at last we would make a tasty meal for vultures ....
