Sean, might be fun ... just mail me the quote and I will wait for the muses to kiss me :-D
Joan Elizabeth, :-) ... sometimes it's easier to find quotes in not-so-literaly-challenging texts, ;-)
AB, that's always funny: I see an Amphicar for the first time in my life in Paris and three weeks later you are posting one on your blog ... they are following me uuuuh ... .
This is more a daily feed than a daily blog.
Photos are resized or may be cropped - that's the only post-processing I do.
The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

This made me smile Martina...
Do you take requests Martina? For some reason I want to give you a quote and see what you do with it... dont know why....
Your last two posts have simply delighted me. The marriage of quote and image has been superb.
Now I see how you knew about Amphicars! Useful if your car should fall off your boat.

I keep looking at the photo and wonder.... How did they get the car up there?
Ulrica, where I live (near Rhine and Main river) we see many cargo ships with cars on them, usually they have a cran.
The shadow in the background of

Love the concept of your blog.
Plus you offer an interesting
reading list.
Cynthia, thx for coming by and your comments - perhaps one day I will use one of your haiku or poems as quotes, ;-)
