oops! It says which Bill Bryson right there! I love the L&T of the TK!The bit about his parent playing dentists makes me laugh until it hurts!
This image is interesting. I want to go and sit on that chair but feel uncertain about entering the room. Kind of strange. Well done.

@chicken: psssshhhht, I am on page 132, no parent-dentist so far. But he went to the dentist already: "'Whoa', he'd say as he briefly enlivened some screaming device or the other. 'You could do some damage with that I bet!'"
@Shaun: funny, this is exactly what I felt when I took the picture.
It is an abandoned school house in a small village nearby Lucca, Italy. This is one of the photos that look better in original size, I am not satisfied with this small size version for the blog, but .. whatever ... ;-)
You'll know when you get to the part I'm talking about. "I'm just checking mom's teeth" is the line that makes me laugh most!
