The quotes: it is essential to me to only quote from things I am currently reading ... I must admit it is sometimes lopsided ... reading a 1000 page novel takes some time ;-)

Somehow it fits hand'n'glove with the quote from Edna O'Brien (that takes me back, having read Country Girls in the late 60s!!!).
The hill and the vast lake set a wonderful mood ... not sure about the bum of the goat!

Great combination of quote and image. Not shure which of my nerves it triggers and why, but it does work on a subconscious level.
This is a bit frightening. It looks like the goat is about to leap off the cliff. I guess it is camera shy
