This is the best turkey portrait that I have ever seen. Both pictures go with Murikami's writing. I read The Wind Up Bird Chronicles last Spring and just loved his world.
I have a quick blog question. My Provence blog is not showing me comments people make. My wife has sent me one just now and it never showed up. I have the who can comment set to anyone. The settings seem to work on my other blogs but this one hasn't received a single comment other than my tests.
James, I did some tests and everything seems fine, I can see all the comments. Perhaps a temporary issue? I am at work - so further investigation has to wait until tonight. On the other hand: Hey, you are on vacation! What are you doing at the computer? Enjoy the sun and the land and the food and the company! ;-)
Daniel, point is: who is the anxious one? The turkey or the photographer?
-me, thanks :-) - right now I am wondering if I should go on with animal portraits or should show some ... mountains. But the next quotes I have in mind need portraits ... might get a little bit boring from now on, ;-).
James, thank you very much. The Wind Up Bird Chronicles was my first Murakami - since then I am addicted. But Murakami is a little bit like licorice - you either love or hate it.
anxious seconds!
ReplyDeleteI love how the donkey and the turkey have the same looks on their faces and the same tilt to their heads. . . Nice photos - and nice to have you back.
