    Carl, indeed, the North Sea (I am not kidding) - but I guess the sprayer was thinking of Hawaii or California ;-)

    Paul, guess what? The only time I ever tried surfing was in Devon. There might be some teachers there.

    In Portugal we have good surf teachers and the water is not so cold....

    Paul, yes, perhaps one must not go so far - like ana barata suggested.

    ana barata, unfortunately so often one is overwhelmed by details.
