Ah, Paul. To be true, I didn't feel fit enough last week, too. But: first time I ever was in the mountains, first time I ever was in a ski resort, first time I ever was on a slope, first time I ever was on a snowboard was at the age of 39 - so, no excuse ;-)
I admire your sense of adventure, starting something new and so strenuous at your great age! ;-] I'm sure you had fun and are now ready for the winter olympics :o)
