    paul, I admit this was kind of a lame posting ... so thanks even more for leaving a comment, ;-).
    She is writing a detective novel right now says The Guardian ... "that starts at St Giles-in-the-Fields in London" ...

    I know the area around St Giles church, it's on the east side of Charring Cross Road, no fields there!!!

    paul, *g* - but here might have been. I am always wondering about this "in-the-fields" thing ... never heard of a German church "xyz-in-the-fields" ...
