Well that's definitely a convincing reason to progress. I admit never having looked at it this way...

  6. I like progress but I also really like the things that stay. Saw a lot of old cars on the weekend, I think they are lovelier in their old age then when new.

  10. donnie, unfortunately in Germany you see them rarely on the streets nowadways. When I was young (haahaaa) they were the standard car for "just-having-a-driving-license-and-no-money-but-need-a-car" - besides the R3 (Renault 3). I remember the 2CV being sold for 9999.- DM then ...

Caçador, but you can always find yourself if you look for yourself, remember? ;-)

Markus, one of the reasons ;-)

Joan Elizabeth, I definitely prefer older cars (perhaps not as a daily vehicle, though, ;-)) - imagine a contemporary rusty Toyota or whatever, duuh ...

Roberto, yes, you can't go to France without taking at least one photo of a Duck

    me, thank you, :-)

    Ratzfatz, Duckland!

  13. Babzy, merci - I never heard this one before.Sounds nice. We Germans say deux chevaux if we want to sound very sophisticated, *bdg* ... ;-)

AB, thank you - a little bit on the kitschy side perhaps but once in a time ... :-)
