paulboo, it's a bird. I took the photo on the "no planes because of the ash cloud" weekend. Usually there are up to 10 planes in a "sky-photo" around here.
paulboo, hm, can't be --- I took the photo on the 5th of April - blame it on my bad memory. I suppose the "up to 10 planes" are hidden behind the clouds. Umpf.
paulboo, I think Frankfurt airport has as many flight movements as Heathrow - but that's it. No other airport around (besides some small Frankfurt dependance that regulary confuses tourists since it is not in Frankfurt at all).
Is it a bird or is it a plane--? Not sure but it makes a fine and intriguing addition to that fabulous sky :o)

ReplyDeleteI think I'd lean toward the silky kind of black. Wool can be a little itchy.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty threatening sky. Did it rain?
kobico, don't think so. A wonder! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI saw a black faced sheep on the weekend ... I guess that is woolly black.
ReplyDeleteJoan Elizabeht, photo???? ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou're forgiven the bad memory, I'm sure yours isn't as bad as mine! London has five main airports so similar crowded skies...!!!
