  2. I gather Europe is a bit inundated! This is all our news is carrying this morning. Even edged out the Copenhagen mess.

  4. We've had a little over a foot of snow today in Boston too. Snow does produce profound silence [and beauty]. Have a great week.

  5. Julie, thank you. It's still snowing :-). Not too bad, I prefer this to the usual grey skies and rain we have in December.

Tash, no snow in Rancho Palos Verdes?

CiB, it's about 4" here. Have a nice week, too, :-D.

  10. R.Ferrari, Feliz Natal e um Feliz Ano Novo! :-) (google translate, not me, ;-))

ER, same here. It's an awful muddy plashy sloppery sludgy slushy squishy mess!

AB, as long as you are withholding the Saarländerisch snow in your blog ...

  11. Snow ... cold stuff ... the few times I have been in snow I find the muffled silence it creates when it falls oddly comforting.
