The quote makes me think there is something hidden in the photo that I have missed! That is a pretty complicated-looking structure, though.

Sean, np, it is the Voelklinger Huette, an abandoned ironworks, now a World Cultural Heritage Site.
Looks like some of a ironworks roller-coaster.
I tried to figure out why November had 31 entries. . . now I know. Very clever.
-me, point was I had to sign a paper never to publish the photos I take at this place ... so I really was very hesitant about posting anything ...
