This reminds me that I missed out on the most fabulous portrait today. A woman had acrylic yarn in her hair, like a weave, in these colors. I wanted that so bad. Perfect contrast between words and photo today, Martina.
Julie, yes, it's her bike. All her accessoires in the bike basket, ;-).
It's a photo that shouts "click me" because it doesn't work so well in the small format ... but I was in colour mood yesterday, ;-) and it had to be this one.
Nice composition. A color stroke between your blackandwhites photos!
ReplyDeleteWith the saying and the picture I'm tempted to say: "...because a fool and her money are soon parted."
ReplyDeleteWould not make much sense to post this in mono! Is that her bike?
ReplyDeleteAs joanet said, nice composition. Well placed. It has an awkward feel to it... kind of like how she looks dressed like that. It works well though...
ReplyDeleteNice colors! I like the contrast of the strong colors of the clothes!

I love the occasional splash of colour in your posts ... its always comes as a bright surprise ... very interesting photograph.
ReplyDeleteCarnival time already??!!
ReplyDeleteJoan Elizabeth, sometimes the b/w is purely getting on my nerves, ;-)
ReplyDeleteAB, don't know, tell me, it is London. :-)
