  2. Living in a visually arresting geographic location doesn't entitle you to go around posting stunning photographs. I'm just sayin'...

  7. yann, merci beaucoup, :-).

PJ, lol. I just looked for some information and found a photo taken from the opposite side Bernard - unfortunately (or not, depends how one likes the cold) I am not living there, but Shaun is living nearby.

Julie, yeeeaaah, sometimes I am in the mood for "picture postcard photography" :-D

  10. Yes Martina... how could you do that? I overcoloured that photo, and there are some I would rather not re-look at... for the record I like your alot better too!!!

Problem with nice views is that they become the "same" views after awhile... people I find never bore you... they are always doing something "strange"... as per your comment :)

  12. Uuhu, I should be quiet tonight:

PJ, but your comment was so funny and I was a litte bit disappointed about me not living there, :-(.

Shaun, I didn't really think about the photo, ;-), I only remembered a posting on your "old" blog about the Alps. Since I can have a look at them only about three or four times a year for me it is always breathtaking.

AB, yes it is. Switzerland is definitely a strange little country. I like being there. 8-)

  15. I didn't mean anything personal by it, it's just pixel envy. So this is where St Bernard dogs come from? We had one named Pluto when I was 4 or 5 years old. Very protective dog, very.

  16. PJ, "pixel envy" - haha ... yes, they have a museum there and some real dogs and of course stuffed st.bernhards in every size and variations.

And at one of the tourist shops there you can also buy a stuffed marmot holding a Swiss flag in one paw that snores when pressed on its belly - AB, Shaun: It is a strange country ... this marmot really impressed me ... I should have bought one ...

  17. Did you photograph the marmot?

  18. PJ, no, I didn't take a photo. I tried google today but nothing came up (besides some very very cute stuffed marmots ... :-))
