Julie, believe me, it is very hard around here to take a shot with only a single (!) dandelion in the frame, ;-). Abandoned stuff - chairs, vehicles, tools, tires, crates, bottles ... I do not really know what's so fascinating about them, perhaps it is because they seem to tell a whole life's story? Perusing Plumbing the Deeps ... another whole life's story ... .
Julie, "tyre vs. tire" is the result of eight years of English at secondary school in Germany. I did not even know about the spelling with y ;-) and just learned, that tyre is BE and tire AE - so ... so my English might be a little mixed up. And German is my mother tongue. Tonight my internet connection is mixed up too so perhaps I will not answer your other comment but will instead try posting a photo - hopefully it will work.
Lovely use of light here, Martina. The yellow of that weed flower really pops out in the foreground.
ReplyDeleteI do so much like abandoned equipment. This sort of farm equipment reminds me of my childhood growing up in country NSW.

ReplyDeleteI note another dandelion picture up ahead ... abandoned stuff is adorable ...
ReplyDeleteYou English is impeccable and you spell tyres with an i ... are you from America? Canada?
